TD15C engine swap.

I am in the process of pulling a blown engine out of a TD15c. It has the DT466 in it and I am replacing it with another DT466. Just at a quick glance it looks as if the torque converter will need to be pulled with the motor to gain access to the bolts on the rear of the engine. What is the easiest way to pull this engine? It has the powershift transmission.

Jeff; Several ways ,some folks lean the hard nose over with the radiator in it. If the tractor is very old the pins are hard to pull. I always thought it was faster to remove the fiberglass dash shroud then the 2 boldts on each side of the dash frame. Ten you will have celar acess to the mount boldts. Absolutely not necessary to pull the torque, Simply go all the around the torque mount boldts, remove them you will find that the torque will sit on the mounts and may tilt back just a little. Removbe the front engine FAN, kinda hard to get to the boldts. lay the fan up against the radiator. Remove the front two mount boldts slide the engine foward 4 inches and lift out. Flip side if you want to remove with torque just pull the rear mounts, remove the pumps,they will slide back with hoses still attached , remove the drive line and lift the entire engine and torque.
Not reall much diffrence more of just what you prefer. NO internal torque boldts, recessed star gear drive /
