Topic: Bobcat 843 V-belt width?

Trying to replace V belt on Bobcat 843 with Isuzu engine but can't wait for dealer to get. Can anyone check the width? Old one is too worn to measure. NAPA can't cross reference to Bobcat part 6655314.

| Thanks for comments. I got an 11/16 wide belt from NAPA that seems close enough, although the original is still a fraction wider.

| My book says its got an Isuzu 4JB1 engine,the standard belt listed for that engine as sold here in the UK is size 13x1500, but often different things like alternators can be used in different countries and that can alter belt sizes.

| What model of Isuzu engine is in the skid. I thought they used the Perkins in the 843?

| Early 843's used Perkins 4-154's, later models used Isuzu. Should be able to google what model of Isuzu engine.

| Real kisser in BOBCAT now offers no parts for either engine. If you can,t find the parts your machine is junk. The last set of bearing I got for the perkins engine came from Germany and the Isuzu parts are just as scarce. That is one model bobcat to stay away from.
