I just rebuilt the motor in a IH 175C Track loader with power shift. After about 30 minutes of use shut it off and came back, started it up and it wont move. the driveshaft turns out of the torque and the hydraulics work, but no go..

torque spins driveline fast/slow respective to engine speed. With enine at slow idle, power shift in hi selection, you can feel 2 gear teeth grind while pulling the hi/low lever into gear. With engine at fast idle, powershift in hi selection, you can feel a few gears grind while pulling the hi/lo lever into gear.

The hi/lo lever can only be shifted at idle and the power shift lever in neutral. Sometimes the engine almost dies inorder to get it in gear.

Does the driveline spin with powershift in gear and tracks not moving?

I have made several calls to 15C/175cs with the "It won,t move condition" Most of the time a kid or someone has been up on the tractor and knocked the hi/low into nutrual. Be real sure it is in fact going into gear. Just hearing or feeling gears grind does not mean you have into gear. Takes a real postive move to get that fork to slide. That being said IF in fact you have it in gear the next place to go is a preasure control valve there on the front top of the transmission. You have three small check points there. You may have a preasure valve stuck open and just not getting preasure to the transmission shift tower. But again the most common is the hi/low in nutural..
