the stack that i want to put on is the same size as the exhaust as far as the inner diameter. the present pipe has the expanded end to fit the outer diameter, whereas the stack i want to put on is straight and not flanged out. i guess what i really need is a wrap type banding that will secure the stack and eleminate exhaust leaks. it is going on an allis chalmers hd4 dozer. thanks |

| Ok, sounds like you shouldn't have any problems then. That said Donaldson offers ID-OD, and OD-ID reducers, expanders, or whatever you want to call them depending on what your doing with them. Wether they offer the exact size your needing I can't say as it's been awhile since I've been in one of their catalogs. Still, if they have something that will work size wise, and you used the band clamps to hold it all together, then you should be fine. |
