Do you run universal oil in the tranny, and what do you run in the bevel gears? on a cat d5 Thanks

| Probably Cat TO2 spec but check with a Cat dealer. How old is the D5? You don't use universal tractor oil and tearing apart the final drive or tranny in a Cat is NOT cheap nor fun! Use the right oil for peace of mind.
