does anybody know where a transmission with Serial number 445/46850/03/1362 and it uses a spin on filter with number 581/18063 comes from? Is it from a JCB 3cx backhoe or not? |

| There were two types of transmissions fitted to the JCB 3cx around the late eighties, the four speed with forward reverse shuttle known as the syncro did have a serial number starting with 445/,the power shift version serial number started with 449/,as suggested above the best bet to find out exactly is contact a JCB dealer.

| Thanks for the help, I was reading earlier posts for JCB's and got in contact with Digger doctor from the UK, he helped me identify it. |

| Check with a JCB dealer or place that is a dealer for Baldwin or another brand. They should have a listing and/or a cross reference chart. |
