Allis HD 4 fuel/oil

Just got my injection pump rebuilt and back on the machine and had ran it maybe 1 1/2 hours or so when she started pouring out the black smoke and then I noticed alot of wet oily on the ground when backing out of dirt pile. Looks, feels and smells like fuel and oil. Liquid on dipstick very thin and low, Had checked oil before I started and was black and full.I am afraid to run it to see where the wet is coming from and can't seem to find it with her shut down. Could it be the seals on injection pump shaft? Is the liquid in belly pan coming from a blow by tube? Just not sure. I didn't install the pump myself, so not sure about the seals. Worst thing is she is setting cross ways in my driveway

You got it ..desiel going into the oilpan then got so full it forced it out. Luck you caught it before it wiped out the engine or caught on fire.
Easy check is drain the crankcase. Fill with some good clean used oil if you have it run it again for 20 minutes and check and see if it is not gaining in the oil pan.

Is the most likely culprit the o-rings on the shaft? I called the guy that installed it and he said he had some trouble sliding them on, so I am guessing that's the problem. He used some 30 wt oil and the book says to use grease. Could the oil have damaged them?

Well first we nned to know how old the unit is or what engine..If the unit has a ac motor then he could have roled the cup seal on the drive shaft for the pump. Pretty common thing.

AC 200. I am pretty sure that is what happened. He said he forced the seals the last little bit when he slid pump on. I have also been informed that the return line should have been blown clean or that could have caused them to leak with the higher pressure from rebuilt pump. Thanks.
