case 450 crawler w/BH

Hi guys,
i need some ideas for a boom latch for my CASE backhoe (Model 33, i think).
Any Ideas???

Hey SL, My Ford backhoe uses a piece of chain between the stabilizers and boom to hold all three together, to keep from leaking down when not in use. (1973 Ford 3400 tractor)

Mark, is that a factory setup? I am leaning on chains as well.

Hey Steve, (On Vacation last week- No Internet) Yes, the chain set up is factory with chain slots in both stabilizers and on the boom- works good as my hyd. system is a little leaky.

Okay, I looked at the CNH site.. I found the chain(s) on each stabilizer leg. I am thinking that this chain attaches and secures the stabilizers to the tower for transport.
