Does anyone have a clue where I can find an injector pump or parts for a Bosch 0 460 304 219 pump to fit a DT 239 Int engine in a Dresser 125 E track loader. The pump head is cracked. I have contacted several rebuilders and they all say this is an obsolete pump and no parts are available. I have not been able to find a used one in a salvage yard. My customer just spent 5 grand on an engine rebuild and now the pump has gone out.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see any post on redpowermagazine.com (all IH)...there's a forum for IH const eqpmt and one for IH engines...
aths.org (Amer Truck Hist Soc) has a list of professional obsolete parts dealers in their Parts and Services section, in the engine category...try them if nothing turns up here.
D239's were on at least one Farmall model, a couple IH loaders, and 6-8 other IH tractors (can send list if needed) which may have your pump or may have different pump, or whole system you can swap/mickey-mouse on if your pump/parts made of unobtainium...Good luck.

I am not an authority on IH engines by any means and am only going on what I have been told. My rebuilder tells me the head on the turbocharged and non turbocharged pumps are different.I think the one for the non turbo is still available. Thanks for the info. I hope something turns up soon.

Do try a post on redpower:
(1) it's free...
(2) if another owner has had this problem, may know of another pump that may work....
(3) they'd be most likely to know of IH wrecking yards, obsolete parts sources etc, for a used pump.
I know nothing of diesels, and less of turbos; rather than let 5K$ lay around, if nothing turns up would it be economically feasible to consider de-turboing it, turning it back into a plain D239???
Just idle curiosity; no reply necessary.

You may already know this but a 125E pump is same as TD8E.
Here are part numbers from the 80's, probably changed since then, but maybe they will help with your salvage yard search.
There were thousands of these two machines. Hard to believe there isn't something out there to help you.

3144634R91 - new IH number
735120C91 - renewed IH number
EP/VA4/100H 1250 CR90 - Robert Bosch

A possible source could be F.P. Smith in California. They have a web site.
Good Luck

Here is another possible source if you haven't already checked with them. I have not done any business with either of the referenced companies.
Tractorparts.com, also go by General Gear, In Boise, Id.

Dennis, No,I have not been able to find anything. Posted on the Red Power Forum as Bud suggested and one gentlemen thought he might have found one in Canada, but nothing has come through yet. Still looking.

Wow that's unbelievable there isn't anything out there. I just got curious as to what you found. That's too bad.
Have you checked with your Komatsu Const Eq. Dealer? That is where the IH/Dresser Payline equipment went back in the 80's after IH sold it off to Dresser. They may have a source for parts.
Keep us posted

Having a new head machined is an option, guys are having it done to get their VE-pumped Cummins trucks over the 400 HP mark. But it's expensive.
