IH 500c won't move

I bought an ih500c from an estate. Crawler won't move, I checked the reverser oil level and it looks frothy after it has been running. I have never had one a part and thought I would ask if anyone else had this problem, if that is the problem. This has been sitting for years, I got it running and replaced the pressure line for the hydro pump but the trans pump is seperate on this by the way it looks. So that leak had nothing to do with the crawler not moving. Any suggestions are appreciated, if I can't get it going I am going to part out / scrap.

you really have to narrow down the location of the problem--is it manual or torque convertor? If the output shaft on the tranny turns is it the pinion/bevel gear, steering clutches, or final drives? Probably have to pull the top or rear cover off the bevel gear compartment to see if anything is turning.

Mikebeen 35 ) years but those thins liked to drove us crazy when they were new. My familey was involved in ih dealership in thos days. My best memory is the problem revolves around a line that goes from mid torque housing ( kinda like bell housing) to the back olwer part of the rear housing. Yous is sucking air if the oil is frothy.May actually have water if it has been sitting as the housing warms up then cools off causing condesation. Drain the tns oil and replace the filter.

Crawler has the torque converter.

I drained the fluid and changed the filters and now it will pull in reverse, but won't go forward. It also seems to be pulling slightly when the reverser is in the neutral position. I am thinking something is sticking in the reverser? Never had one of these apart so any help would be appreciated.
