323 Bobcat mini-excavator

I rented a 323 Bobcat mini-excavator with rubber tracks today to dig up my septic pipes.
I parked it about 6" from a maple tree stump and tried getting all the roots out of the way. When I went to move it the left track came off, (the machine had worked it's way over against the roots and popped off the rubber track).
How do you put the darn thing back on?
It only has almost 600 hours on it, so it should not have too much wear.
Thanks
Brian

There should be two cover plates on the track
assembly. I'm not sure which one, but under one
there is a nut that has to be loosened to relieve
pressure off the track tensioner. DO NOT REMOVE
the zerk fitting because the grease in the track
tensioner is under high pressure! Once the
pressure on the track tensioner is released you
should be able to get the track back on the sprocket and rollers. Once the track is back in
place, refill the track tensioner with grease and
your ready to go. Thats how it is on other bobcat
track machines. I'm assuming its the same as the bobcat 325 we have at work.

Swing the bucket to the side the track ran off and raise the track assy off the ground. after relieving tension, use a long bar to pry track back on. Tighten track with grease gun leaving 1 and 1/2 inch of slack on the bottom.

That was great information!
I was able to replace the track and it works great.
Note: The bleed screw was toward the rear of machine, front one is for grease.
Thanks again!
