Anyone ever change one of these without taking the whole front nose off? Will the radiator come out through the front? It would be a lot easier to get to the water pump if this would work. Any tricks or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i've changed the fan on my 350B thru the filter side without a whole lot of trouble...mines a diesel...should be enuff room to snake pump out.
nose isnt that big a deal to remove if you have a A frame or a gin pole truck...no way radiator will come thru front of nose.

I've done it both ways. It's less aggravating if you remove the nose. Just lots easier to do everything.

i had a 350 dozer had to repair the radiator a few times the only way and easiest way is to remove or tilt the nose forward. its a heck of alot easeier to do this then try it other ways , and it will make the waterpump repair better also, and you can get into the tractor engine for anything else while you have it removed or tilted good luck.

Thanks For the help. Looks like I will tilt it a head And give that a shot. Wheres a good place to get new or used parts for this machine?

i would try your nearest john deere eq. dealer, either construction or ag. sometimes john deere ag dealers can get parts for there industial line of eq.if no luck there i would also get online to john deere there website can direct you to there parts supliers or aftermarket parts dealers. i hope this is some help you can find parts for this tractor on line but it may take some looking good luck.p.s. i would take the pump with you to parts dealer to compare numbers if any ,they mite send you to a patrs store such as napa to cross reference the numbers etc.... for you again good luck
