580 Construction King 33 Loader Frame Install Tips?

Pulled the hoe and loader frame off my old 69 580 for a complete rebuild of the engine and front end, new radiator, new wiring etc. The removal of the hoe went smooth but the removal of the loader frame minus bucket was not as easy. I kept getting hung up when I lifted it up with another loader tractor. Finally banged it around enough to clear the snags and then rolled it back away from the lifted frame. It is NOT how i want to put it back on. It was my first time so I am looking for any experience or tips on how you mount the frame smoothly. Tractor will have power now. Thanks

No tips, but I am wondering why you removed it? I just put a replacement engine in a 1966 580CK (188 to 207). Also had the front end off. Did it all with the front loader frame left in place. All I took off was the front bucket and the hoe in back. I only did that so it would take up less room in my shop.

I took the tractor apart and refurbished, cleaned and restored lots of things including the engine, clutch, radiator, lighting, brakes, complete front end, total wiring harness, manual steering pump, power steering pump and cylinders, hoses, battery box, gauges etc. That working around the loader frame was getting old fast. The best part was being able to clean 40 years worth of grease and dirt off of everything that was covered up I am now working on the loader assembly. This old gasser has been a real worker and got treated to the total spa treatment.

I have never done this before, I think you should have a "tie bolt" holding the loader pivot bushings in. the center pipe in the frame is sandwiched in with that bolt. so you could remove the mounting frame from the loader and install one side at time. I think I would try to loosen the tie bolt and see if the frame will move out first.
I can't remember what the torque is on that tie bolt. but I would say it is just alittle higher than really tight.
Good luck Ed
