IN the back of my 1962 TD6 dozer there are two zerk fitting that I grease avery day before I use the dozer, Today on the left side as you are standing ion the back and looking forward there is a cap that holds 2 bronzes bushings with some shims. Today the cap broke, I caught it before eveything fell out. I am in Huston Texas currently on a job and need to find a International parts house, Pleaseifyou know of a good place could you tell me and also what is the function of the assembly.

Much Appreciated, Don

I assume from the way you describe the assembly the bushing is split into two pieces and then shimmed for clearnance. That said, depending on the size of the bushing you may be able to get a stock, standard sized, completely round bushing and split it to use in your application. Somewhere like Mcmaster Carr carries a pretty good line of stock stuff so they miught be able to help depending on the size. If they or MSC or someone like that don"t have the size you need try the link below to National Bronze. Bushings are what they do and their pricing is very competative. I say competetive but when priced against OEM parts they beat them up one side and down the other, or at least they did when I priced a buch of them for a crane undercarriage a few years back. Good luck.
