I would like to know what horsepower is the Cat D6C, I think it has 3306 motor but does not have turbocharger. Is it good tractor??? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I would agree the D6C is one of Cat's finest but I wouldn't say the same for all the engines. Started with D333 then D333C and ended with 3306.
I'd pass on the D333, the D333C is ok but the best engine is the 3306 which came in the mid 70's with a 3306T getting 140 hp at sr. # 10056-up

They built about 13,700 units before production ended in 1977 when they became the D6D model.

For FarmerD5:
Your email asks about the D6C 10K series. All the 10K series are 3306 engines with turbo application coming at sr # 5984 in 1971 @ 140 hp.
The non turbo 3306 prior to that number is 125 hp.

There is some miss information out there about 10k units using D333 engines which is not correct as verified by the actual parts book.

I'll get it all eventually!!!!!
The 13,700 units is for 10K production.
Overall D6C production is about 47,500 units.
and yes the 3306 is a very good engine.

For those following this thread, I screwed up on the engine identifications for the 10K series.
Here is the corrected info:
10K1 - 10K5983 uses the non-turbo D333B engine @ 125hp (4-1/2 in. bore)
10K5984 - 10K7952 uses the turbo D333C engine @ 140hp (4-3/4 in. bore) starting in 1971
10K7953 - up uses the turbo 3306 (4 - 3/4 bore, 3N series) @ 140hp starting in 1973
