Scarifier on Cat 931B?

I'm thinking of making a scarifier to go on the back of my Cat 931B loader. The JD rippers mount to same brackets as the JD backhoe. The Cat ripper has a different mount than the Cat hoe. Could I make the scarifier mount on the backhoe brackets like a JD? I could either get another valve to plug into the backhoe hoses or use the 4 in 1 bucket control to raise the scarifier. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I only want to go about 6 inches deep and have the teeth closer together than a ripper. It will be used for maintaining a motocross track that gets pretty hard and also make it possible to rototill. Dave

Don't be afraid to build brackets to adapt something to something else..It's done everyday.. I have done my share of "rigging" one attachment to another application..Including a sweeper attachment from a tractor mid mount to a truck front mount , swapping snowplow hitch parts to convert a Husting Hitch to a Tor-Lock on full sized plow trucks...One thing to keep in mind.....Don't get cheap when ordering steel to do your modification..i.e. Don't buy 1/4" when you need 1"...I use a lot of 1/2" to 1" steel for my projects...Clean your torch tip really well and let 'er rip....
