Case 480E Loader/Backhoe

My neighbor has a Case 480E Loader/Backhoe that he wants to sell. Has 4 speed hydrostat. Clean running diesel.
Any known issues with these, parts hard to get, or over priced, etc?
Not sure what year, probalby 1980s model.

we had a 480f for years. One of the better balanced backhoes that we had. you could run everything in 2nd gear on the 480 but you had to do most dirt pushing in 1st on the 580s. The nice thing about the 480s is they are just updated and newer condition older 580s. I think our 480f was same as a 580c? I'm not sure. the 480E might be same as a 580B but again I am not sure. the 480 was also not as topheavy as our newer 580s were. Overall the only thing we replaced on the 480F over 12 years was hoses tires and brakes. Thats hard to beat. Should have kept it but economics said otherwise at the time.
