Loss of coolant on Kubota help?

I'll ask on here as well. I have V1902 Kubota in my skid steer. It's loosing coolant from somewhere on the flywheel end under the seat. The rad and heater hoses are all good and the block heater looks firmly in place. Any ideas on what could have happened? It was good on Friday and today I was going to clear snow and instead had a steam sauna after I revved it up a bit. Thanks in advance for any possible causes. Dave

I guess you have figured out by now that engine has two freeze plugs in the area of your leak. One in the back end of the head you can see with the engine intack, but the block has one right next to the end of the cam that is covered by
the bellhousing ,would take removal of the engine
to repair, not likle this one. I am beting it is the one in the end of the head.. OR head gasket.
Have trouble with this engine when mounted in skid steer because of how they route the hoses going to radiator.

I think it's block heater related. The block heater uses one of the freeze plugs in the head. After having it plugged in about an hour, I noticed the breaker tripped. I went to check on the machine and the snow on the engine was gone. I haven't used the block heater for at least 5 years. After I got the breaker reset I went to check on it again but the head/block wasn't warm. I'm wondering if the block heater burned/shorted out and it caused the seal on it to leak. It didn't steam until I revved it up some but if it did leak a bit might be why the heater in the cab had no heat. Does this make sense? Dave

The block heater was fried and it is what was leaking. It took the mechanic about an hour to change it. I'm happy it was a simple fix. I had everything ready to go for winter. How are you supposed to know when a block heater is going to burn out? LoL Dave
