Looking at a Case 1000 dozer, is this a hydrostatic type drive? It has a 4 cylinder diesel--what is the horse power? What should I look for that might be bad other than the under carriage? This machine has a 9 ft hyd lift blade, what is it's total wheight? Thanks for any info.

LJ, I have several of the case 1000 series tractors , they are torque converter and power shift , not hydrostatic. that is a good thing as hydro's are really expensive to repair.

Send me an email with a phone # and I'll call you ,there is not much I have not done to one of those as I have had them for 40 years . been good machines.

george
