does any company anywhere make new crawler dozers with a 3 point hitch and rear pto besides magnatrac?.magnatrac too small and expensive.the chinese dozer sold by northern tool looks like piece of junk but is alot heavier than the magnatrac.i'll keep my eye open for a used john deere 1010 or 2010 unit.the big name manufacturers just don't offer agricultural crawlers anymore like in the 1950's-60's.too bad.if anyone knows otherwise, please respond as i'm not crazy about buying used metal track equipment.p.s.....i know about the rubber track machines made by ASV,they are about $40,000+ for the bigger models capable of dozer work.thanks alot.robert.

Landini makes one. Used one for sale in Walla Walla for $24,000 (price not in ad, I asked)

Landini makes an ag crawler with 3-point and PTO and I believe it is a very fine product. I believe that the reason that you find small ag crawlers from Italy is that they are very good at working in steep vineyards. Landini in NYS has a very good and still developing reputation. They used to be a captive company of Massey Ferguson.

I think once the Chalengers came out, all the other ag. caterpillars were discontinued. Komatsu all so made them, not sure if they still do though. I see JD 350's with 3 point and PTO from time to time. But, they aren't common around here. Robert

How about Same? They make very good Ag. tractors and have crawler versions from 55 to 95 HP!! I've looked them over, and they are very well built, with remotes, 3 point, and multi speed PTO's. I saw one with a dozer blade installed too. I have two of their wheel tractors, and they have been very good with no down time. Robert

Robert,

Think you covered about all the bases for new, either Magnatrack or Chinese. As to older dozers with 3 points, they are about as rare as chickens teeth. I own a 1010 and would love to have a 3 point for it, but people who have them are quite proud or them at the tune of about 2K bucks.

Good luck,

Jerri
