Hello all,
I have one of the small obsolete cbc roosamaster on a straight 350 dozer and the pump is leaking at the throttle control lever. Wondering if any one could tell me the steps to replace the oring seal especially how to keep the rack and pinion in time or syncronized. The pump is running the engine perfectly, just leaking a small amount when running.

If it is anything like the larger Roosamasters, should just be some O-rings to replace.
If you can post the pumps model #'s on its plate, there are folks here can guide you more easily.

the tag is missing from the pump but according to the JD parts lookup for my machine serial number(113014T) the model of the pump should be a cbc-331-1al. the seal I am talking about leaking and needing to replace is item 4 on the exploded view. there are two of them, one on each side of the throttle lever pinion gear that operates the rack that moves the governor shaft in and out to meter the fuel.
