Tilt cylinders, does side matter?

Regarding a Case 450 tracked loader. Tilt cylinders are bleeding off. I have some extra cylinders as I made one machine out of 2.

The left cylinder looks rough with the rod being dinged up. I have a right cylinder that I want to rebuild and use it on the left.

Are the L and R side cylinders different for the tilt mechanism, or can they be interchanged?

Thank you.

In general, for cylinders for the tilt (bucket) from the same model, the difference in the left and right cylinders will be the hose connection points, if anything. As long as you can make the hose connections, and they don't foul something when operating, they should be fine. The bore stroke, and other dimensions should be the same as they have to work in tandem with the cylinder opposite it. You have both so you should be able to compare them.

The cylinders are the same, they will interchange and are not handed, they will fit either side, if the rods are damaged on what's on there now swap them over.
