Ever use hydraulic fluid sealer ?

Been working on the hydraulic leaks on our Bobcat 743. Got almost all of them fixed. Still appear to have a little seepage in a couple places. Not much of a believer in cures from magic potions. Wondered if anyone has tried this Blue Devil sealer and if it worked ? Or any hydraulic fluid sealant you have tried , and your results.

I've used it for a tranny leak, Worked great and after a small drive no more leak !! Jim in N.M.

That Jim in N.M. will try anything. [ Good friend of mine} I haven't had any luck with sealers. When possible, I try to fix 'em right.

In engine oil and hydraulic oil; a stop leak does work.. Blue Devil, Lucas, Bars all contain a substance that causes a good oring or seal to soften and expand to seal oil again.. No help for leaking hoses; just good orings and seals .. And yes; Blue Devil does work. Use 1 oz. stop leak for every quart of oil..

I've used Lucas in my skid loader. It works for me.
