Alright so its been quite a while but I finally have the backhoe home. I ended up having it hauled to a mechanic to take over because I had given up.
Turns out my suspicion about the power steering pump was right. It was blowing bubbles and it fed right into the reservoir near the hydraulic pump intake. And when the fluid is moving at 30 ft/second the bubbles go right through.
Shes running great. Just one more leak in the front oil cooler and shes all buttoned up...for the most part.
Does anyone have an idea on where to look for an oil cooler for this machine or one that will retrofit? #C9NN-F830-A
