I respect what you are trying to do but there are many questions to be answered to do this right Larry. From old's posts we know it hasn't run for about 19 years and it needs something for a hose to be operatable. Not trying to poke at old, but from some of his past posts about it, it sounds like clear ownership of it could be questioned; in my opinion, unless he has served proper notice as being claimed for abandonment.

Actual year, at 1967 it's 55 years old. A few others are: Does it have a cab? Condition of cab interior and instruments? Climate controlled cab? ROPS? Glass condition? Tire Condition? Type and condition of bucket? Sheet metal condition? Do brakes work? Steering tight? Pictures? Access and assistance to load it? Unless old gets it running or has equipment large enough to push it on a trailer, there could be a major cost to loading and transportation That's not a pull in with a ramp truck and winch it on load. The right semitrailer with a winch, maybe if it is setting where it can be easily accessed.

Right now given the available info I would have to class it with non-running machines I see in auction flyers and for sale on heavy equipment flyers/ magazines. Currently in $2500 to $5,000 range, it could bring 3 times that if running in reasonable condition. Weight should be in the 13 - 14 ton range. What is unprepared scrap paying in that area. The one Buddy posted the link to is a good looking 1967 machine with good tire and only brought about $8500.

Sorry if any of this offends. That is not my intent, just trying to present a realistic look at it from a buyer's side. Most buyers are going to try to bring the price down, especially on a dead horse. Just my thoughts and opinion. Maybe this will spark a few more guys to weigh in for you.

Much sought after loader those, he should attempt to make it a runner, it is important to a buyer that it can load and unload itself, looking on Machinery Trader there is one there a 1965 for $20k and a 66 for $22k, well worth getting it running.

A non-running machine with tires that size in my area is worth zero. Nobody will take it with the tires, then hauling costs, torch fuel, etc. Anything that supposedly only needs a hose would have been fixed years ago.

I know of An international 4166 that was overhauled probably 35 years ago the old man retired and parked the tractor irs sat in one place ever since last price he had was 500$ but you had to drive it off the place ot he wouldnt sell if to you . Someone is always looking for a bargain Im sure the loaded would sell but it might be cheap If old could fix if he would but hes not able . Would he be willing to take a price that reflects the condition its in ? Like posted might be worth 20 grand operating but not operating 2000.00$ Is probably what its worth . So is if worth selling for a little bit to someone who can fix and use it ? or is it better to let it rot because it only needs a days work to make it run ?

old's reply on TT pretty much says he isn't going to do anything with it at this time and there are other things (objects and life) in the way of getting to it. So, nothing is going to happen with it.
