Hello all,
I'm new to this forum I e done a search and haven't came up with the results I think I am looking for. I have recently acquired two D6 9U crawler tractor/dozens. I am trying to locate a pto unit (5F1130 rear pto) and a 3pt/ripper. It seems no one has much in this serial range. Does anyone know where to look for salvage parts? I have been searching and calling without any luck. Pto is to power a 1926 sears/foley buzz mill and 3 pt to do farm work. I will be checking ACMOC as well. Thank you for any leads regarding the ag tractor portion of these old cats.

Could you work up something from an old Stieger 3pt for it. They would be tough enough to handle what you would pull with a D-6. We used to use a couple Cats for tillage work farming. We just used pull equipment like trailer plows and discs. A PTO unit might be pretty hard to find for a D-6 I would look around eastern OR or WA they use a fair amount of Cats for farming there yet. Mostly D-5's though Not sure just how close they are to a 6. For the buzz saw why not run it off from either an power unit engine with a belt pulley or mount on a regular tractor for use. We also had a buzz saw on the front of an IHC H run on the flat belt pulley. It was hydraulic to raise and lower.
 
We had an ATECO ripper on ours, pretty stout unit that one could pull the shanks off of and adapt whatever to it. The tractor retained the regular drawbar and we could pull a sheepsfoot with it
