Ford 655 back hoe problems

I am helping a guy who owns a Ford 655 back hoe
loader yesterday he showed me where the bushes
are breaking up where the slew rams fit to the
backhoe also the main pivot for backhoe is worn
and sloppy, I came to conclusion after the worn
main pivot has caused the bushes in slew rams to
break also the slide has seized and he was told by
someone who knows the only way to fix it is to cut
very carefully with thin disc in grinder which I don't
like the sound of... I am not familiar with excavators
at all never even used one but I would like to know
how locking clamps work thanks for replies

(reply to post at 17:05:34 03/02/22) Bushes = bushings?
Slew rams = swing cylinders?
Slide? Does this backhoe have an extending dipper stick which has wear sildes? Or does it have the main frame that slides side to side?

Go to My CNHiStore (here is the link: https://www.mycnhistore.com/us/en/default/ ). Choose New Holland Construction Equipment and do a Model search for 655. That should get you to where you can select the right parts book for the 655 (or a 655 letter series if it is not a plain 655). That should let you see the components and get the names and location of the parts you are discussing.

If it works, the link below will take you direct to the 655 parts catalog, the direct links don't always work.
