Case 450 Loader Price

I'm in the market for a case 350 toy, a 450 came up down the road with a 207, 4in1, ripper. The motor/drive train seems great, but it has been sitting and the current owner knows next to nothing about it. It's got my interest, but not at his price, a good one sold for $6,400 (below link) in restored condition last year. I'd think $6,400 minus 1/2 the cost to get it in good condition? Hoping casenutty will chine in as he would be a good data point.

Good: Everything works, starts right up from cold, with 3y/o diesel and runs, inside all tanks looks brand new, moves, track is free and bushings/pins are good, idlers are good, rollers are good from what I can see,

BAD: One idler is slack and probably needs a seal to tension the chain, the pump has a hard time lifting the bucket (maybe service will help here), been sitting for at least 3-5 yrs so needs complete fluids/filters/grease/adjustment, pads are worn and lose bolts, Most of the hoses will need replaced (checked), quite a few welds, 2 cylinders need immediate attention, 2 will need work soon, and two are just black without dripping on ground. Most of the link pins are loose (are there bushings too?), one brake isn't doing anything, cutting edges need replaced, most of the gauges are not functioning. The #1 cylinder didn't heat up as fast as the rest, but the unit was sitting for a long time.

Thoughts?

Pics would help me more,, not sure how to do anything with link below,, that said,, if it has a 207 in it its a 450B,, the ripper and 4-in-one bucket add value,, here it would be in the 8-10 K price, so that said his asking price to me for a loader model is not out of line, for my area,, I for sure do not see it bring less than 5K at auction again pics may change my mind a bit,, but look at it this way,, a ripper if I could find one and I have been watching is 2500.00 range,, 4-in-one adds another 500-800,, if it was a dozer model they are well above 10K for a decent one here, I cant say for other areas, friend of mine and I went and looked at a 310C with manual angle dozer last summer, one owner and it was by far the nicest original I have seen,, he wanted it for half what the man was asking,, after I drove it and tested it I quietly said to him, the asking prices was a steal,, even said if he did not want it I would take it at asking price in a second,, it came home with him for the 4K it was priced at,, I would say its worth another 2K over that easy,, what I am saying is yes condition makes a huge change in pricing,, what you are describing to me sounds like normal items for wear and tear,, I am wondering about the loader,, you say it struggles to lift it,, are you talking at idle or engine half throttle or more? those loaders are heavy for sure and it will pull the engine down at idle when lifting but it should lift it fine, and should raise it fast at full throttle, bad lift cylinder packings will make it weak lifting at time if they are bad enough,, you should be able to hear the by-pass squeal easy when you fully stroke a cylinder and hold the lever ,, this would help tell me pump condition, also the ripper and 4-i-one clam will tell you this also,, hope my rambling helps you some what,, this is my 350,, it needs a few things fixed but all in all its a solid machine,, I have 4K in it and thought I got a great deal even with the repairs it needs,,

As the unit lifts the bucket seems the shake, I give it more throttle figuring that the hyd pump probably just needs to be spinning faster but that's not it. I think what I'm feeling is the hyd pump outputting each "squirt". maybe the hyd fluid is low or there's some prob on pump suction side.

What do you think?

Took me a min to figure out how to post pics. I'm not sure if it's a 207, the serial is 2067xx which should be a straight 450, and then I was reading that the late 450's had 207's.

No squeals when relief kicks in (if it does), I didn't even think to listen for the relief. The pump is right in front of the radiator isn't it? The bucket and ripper both pick up the unit (didn't try it in tandem).

the chattering can be low on oil, a leak on the suction line to the pump or even a plugged air vent on the hyd tank,, and yes it could be a worn pump,, but even so they are available, it does not look bad from what I see
