Have an old Case 580 ck backhoe-when I go to put stabilizer cylinder down it will not pick up hoe like low on pressure- it makes a noise from the valve for the loader -is there a relief valve leaking ?? Pump is newer-does it with all hoe cylinders.???

If it does it with all the cylinders yes it could be the relief valve and yes ALL hyd system have them. If it only does it with some of the cylinder or just one then good chance it is a cylinder problem

Is the front loader working normal,if so the trouble is likely to be an o'ring on the power beyond adapter in the loader control valve,if the loader has no power as well as the backhoe then the relief valve could have an issue.
