I have a michigan 75A loader, having transmission problems ,when its cold works great for about 25 min then wont move unless you
pull backwards couple feet then works good for awhile , Need help i'm lost
 
That sounds like the charge pump can lift the oil when it's cold and thick and will not when it warms up and gets thin,try cleaning the suction strainer,any breathers the transmission may have,I take it there is enough oil in it and the filter is clean.

wheres the charge pump located , i changed filter , took pan off and cleaned that , any chance where i can find charge pump to buy , any help would be appreciated
Thanks put 16 quarts 30 weight oil in it ,
 
As far as I remember there are two pumps on the transmission,one the main hydraulic pump for the equipment and the other the charge pump for the transmission,trace the pipe work,before buying a new pump a pressure check should be done otherwise it is chance,I can't help with locating a pump as I am in the UK, try on Machinery Trader.

With the age of that machine I have forgotten the specs,Minn Parr used to bits for them it's years ago since I seen one but I thought there was a gauge on the dash,someone else may have a manual that can help you.

AJ Thanks for the help , i put pressure gauge on tranny , it had like 180lbs then in 25 mins dropped to 120 lbs started stalling , is that the charger pump ,
is there any used parts like pump Thanks
 
Don't take this as gospel but I seem to think it should be 150-200psi,what does it read in forward neutral and reverse,read it in all three cold and then hot,if there is a cooler fitted (I can't remember) make sure its clean,the reverse working ok is the bogeyman,unless the forward clutch discs are worn thin and require more pressure to put a squeeze on them to drive than reverse would explain that.

Was having a nose around looking for a pump when I found a parts manual you can download it from the link below,it is very useful,the machine does have a transmission cooler integrated with the rad make sure both are clean.

when machine stalls wont move in forward or reverse , we
checked pressure dropped from 180 to 120 after about 25 min Thanks
 
That looks like the pump is not making pressure when the oil gets warm.the question is why?,is the pump worn,is the pick up drawing air,has the pressure valve an issue,the pressure valve should be checked to see if it's ok,if ok the pump should be removed and inspected to establish if it's serviceable,I cannot go saying fit a new pump and it will cure the problem as it may not,are the brakes releasing properly,if the machine has a nudge valve make sure its not sticking all those things can impede the drive.

AJ The brakes don't work, were still playing with it ,
we havnt got to cleaning the tranny cooler and lines yet , the pressure starts out at 190 then drops to 40 after 25 min , in all gears , let sit 45min and go agin, where would the pressure valve be how to test that , Thanks Randy
 
The control valve is under the top cover of the transmission and that is where the relief would be,by what you are saying the pump is the main suspect,have it off and have a mechanic or hydraulic shop open it up he/they will be able to tell you if it good or bad,as I said before I cannot say what is wrong by the symptoms you explain,the pump pressure is crucial,if the pump turns out to be good then you will have to look at the valves,torque and transmission,an experience mechanic is really your best bet.

I have a Michigan 125 about the same age. Have you replaced the transmission filter and checked the screen of the suction line at the bottom of the transmission. I have the repair manuals for my machine and the transmission charge pump is mounted on the torque converter. Pressure at the test ports on top of transmission should be 180 to 200 psi. To check oil in unit should be running with oil hot 550 to 600 rpm. You have to drain transmission to clean suction screen. Mine hold 11 us gallons. Could also be a hose the partly collapses when oil gets hot.
