Been looking for a small dozer maybe a 350
jd I noticed there are 350 b /350 c same as
the 450 there is b and c models are they
all good machines or not

350 & 350B not so good. 350C better if you're an expert mechanic & can afford the parts.

In some ways the early 350s are better then the 350C, and in some ways not. I'd buy by condition rather then age.

First 350s have no convoluted torsional-isolator on the flywheel to fall apart. Also do not have a floating track system. So in those two ways, I consider the first 350s better then the newer ones. Reversers were an option so some do not have one. Dry mechanical steering clutches.

350B has an optional power steering. Downside is that cursed isolator if it has a reverser. Reverser shaft was upgraded and stronger then the original like used in early 350ss and 1010s.

350C is the first with wet steering clutches powered by the reverser. Has that awful isolator system and all came with a reverser. Has a floating track-frame system that wears something awful.

350D has the reverser isolator eliminated (finally). French-built engine instead of Dubuque. Largest engine of them all as I recall.
