Fiat CAV Injector pump leak repair

Hi Guys. My Fiat 605's injector pump is leaking here (see photo). It's still usable so I don't want too dig too deep. Anyone had one apart? Is there a seal under the lever, or can I take the top section off in place? Is that area under full pump pressure? Thanks in advance.

There is an O-ring on that shaft just as there is on lever 12. You will also need a gasket. Questions? My e-mail is open. I would like to know more about your crawler. J.
 
There are 2 orings on each shaft, a gasket under the cover that seals it to the main pump hsg & 2 fiber washers under the 2 nuts on top..
You can buy a little kit on ebay that people put together for just this type of repair.. costs about 15.00
There are literally THOUSANDS of write-ups on how to do it & what to look out for..
IF you google it.. leave out the "Fiat"..
Depending on the room, it can be done on the tractor.. just have to have enough room to get the cover off..
 
Thanks Guys, that pretty well explains it. I'll search google for the particulars. I found the kits on ebay.

J, I don't see you email address anywhere. Mine's just an old beater but it gets the job done. Do you have something similar?

Crap, I just lost the pin and whatever else was in that hole the throttle spring attached to. It literally just fell apart. Where to get?
 
I found the pin in the tracks unbelievably. I guess there is a small spring goes on it that I'll never find. Pen spring do?
 
Anyone here? Got it running but fuel shutoff is not working, guess the pin missed the slot. Do I have to open it up and reprime? Took forever to prime.
