friend has a 4045d,, said he will sell it to me, under 500$ its a good one for sure.. be cool if I could get it in my 2010 crawler loader, lol,, idk,, thinkin of picking it up? I see the turbo version is worth a small fortune,,

That 4045 engine is as far from fitting a 2010 as bolting a Ford in a Farmall.The only thing in common with the 2010 is the name.I paid $3500.for a good running 4039,then had to spend $700.for a flywheel to fit it on my chipper.They are valuable.

The same belhousing pattern is used on the gas and diesel two cylinder Dubuque equipment . Not too difficult to find a 2-53 Detroit in a 440ID crawler or tractor. They will make an easy 45 net HP at 1850 rpm.

For $ 500 I'd buy it if you know it is good. You can always resell it.
