Got a D5G from an auction not too long ago, everything seems to work fine except the twisting action on the right blade joystick T handle. Sticky is an understatement, need both hands to twist it left and can barely get it right with one hand. This would control the blade angle. The blade moves perfectly with the joystick once you can get it turned. Everything else on stick is smooth. Any general ideas before I blindly tear into it? Thanks

Try spraying it as mentioned but on my 4G I had to take it apart and replace a bearing. You can take the linkages off and work the valves to make sure the problem is in the joystick. It's been a couple of years ago but I don't remember it being too bad of a job. Tony

Open the right battery door, take something like PB Blaster and spray your linkage,, MOST likely not in the valve but in the linkage there under the arm rest.
