MF 200B Crawler Hydraulic Reverser Transmission

Hi all a newby here.
I have a MF200B crawler dozer and want to change the hydraulic reverser transmission oil & filter. I have the owners & operators manual which talks a little about changing the oil but not in great detail.
I want to remove the suction side sump screen & wash/clean as the manual describes (briefly) but the cover for it is very close to the frame of the tractor. After the cover is removed there is only about 2"-3" clearance for to pull the sump screen out.
My question is: Is this enough clearance to pull it out or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there, I have the same question as you. I recently came into a MF 200B crawler and am going through changing fluids and filter. The hydraulic reverser screen is one of the items I'm working on next, but I am also concerned about clearance from the cover to the frame...

Were you successfully able to remove the filter screen and clean it or did you have to do something special in order to achieve enough clearance to remove it for servicing?

Thanks,

Dave
