Fuel gauge vibirates past empty to past full.Funny thing is let
idle few min. settles down to near normal with light vibiration.
Then with rpm, gauge goes crazy again.Drove across rough ground
to flex float but no help. Any help appreciated Bill

Check the connections on the sender on top of the fuel tank, check that the wires are not chaffed and grounding out, check the tank mounting bolts are tight, remove the instrument control panel and see the multi plug is securely plugged in,I've had a similar problem with the alternator overcharging, the fuel gauge and techo were going crazy,a new alternator regulator sorted it,is the reading steady with the engine off.
