T340 Track roller lubricant?

Still waiting on my owner's manual. Can someone that has one look to see what the recommended lube for the rollers(top & bottom) is?

Lubriplate 5555. You also need a special tip to inject it properly into the rollers. I can give you more detail by email if needed.

After research I went with Super S, 00 spindle grease from Tractor Supply. The Lubriplate was not very available & costly..
I would like to know about the nozzle for application though. What's the O.D. & length?

My manual calls for multi-purpose gear lube -

"sulfur-phosphorous type gear lubricant meeting the requirements of IH spec B-22, grade 132H EP

or

Sulfur-chlorine-lead type gear lubricate meeting the requirements of IH spec B-22 grade 80H EP, 90H EP or 140H EP

or

Sulfur-chlorine-phosphorous gear lubricant meeting the requirements of milspec mil-l-2105b

It also states that gear lube meeting GL-4 spec must not be used unless they meet one of the above.

Interestingly, milspec l-2105B appears to cross to a GL-4 gear oil, so I'm not sure what to think.

It gives SAE-140 weight for above 32*, or 90 for 0-90* or 80w90 for -20 to +90*f.

Capacity is 3/4 pint for the front and track rollers and 1/2 pint for the top idler.

The insertion tool looks like a nozzle about 1/8 diameter and 3-4" long. I'll look at a torn apart idlers and see if I can get better dimensions tomorrow if I remember.

I personally would probably just put some gear oil of the heaviest grade you can find in and see how it works. Pretty much anything is likely better than nothing.
