Needing some help on removal of shive on the 500 to see why clutch is not working,HELP

You need to take the small snap ring off the end of the drive sheave. Remove the hydraulic hose and fitting, be sure to support the swivel, they break easily. Take off the snap ring, the end cap will come off.
Once the end cap is off, the outside half of the sheave can slide off. There are two set screws that hold the inside sheave to the crankshaft along with the key.
