Hydraulic leaks

I Have a M.F.50A backhoe that has a few small hydraulic leaks. Has anyone used Lucas or Blue Devil Hydraulic leak stop ? Is one better than the other?
Big differance in price. Thanks

nothing but snake oil only fix is to fix very few machines that old that don't leaks if it's not a lot run it

I remember back in the sixties when I think it was Wynns had a hydraulic stop leak,it was aimed at auto transmissions and power steering and other low pressure applications,it was not intended for say hydraulic cylinders or the like,on having overhauled some transmissions that it had been used in I found that the way it worked was that there was a reaction between the additive and the seal material causing it to swell and stop the leak temporary,it was a good get you home remedy but not a permanent fix.
