(quoted from post at 08:45:51 09/22/17) What did you do,did you disturb the timing gears? explain why you are thinking the timing is out, with the master spline setup you cannot put the pump on wrong it's idiot proof, the only mark to line up is the F mark ie the pump housing to the engine, again what is the problem you are having.

(quoted from post at 21:02:31 09/22/17) I had a look at ours for that timimg mark "F". With side screen fittings and engine covers in place visibility isn't too good down there but it looks like there are lines on the pump (definitely) and the other side (probably, through the paint). I couldn't get access to remove the paint as yet.
Incidently ours in a plain "10" a bit older than yours.

This is early in our ownership when the blade quick drop valves were on the downbar hoop at 90 degrees wrong so didn't work. I've since moved them back where they should be, with much fewer problems with trees and hoses. One of quite a few things brought back to what they should have been.
It has a fairly serious tree pusher.
Looks like you have a good old workhorse there.
Ian we have difficulty finding a source for parts that can find them in Italy and ship to us in Africa. If you have an address or recommendation you can share we would be grateful. This again for your assistance.
The tilt cylinder is on the left as is shown for 10 and 10B in the manual.
For brush work I've modified the radiator protector to a local pattern. The original Fiat guard is welded to the back of the louvres.

Pull 2 pins and it swings out for access for blowing dust out. Pull 4 and it slides down the tilt hoses out of the way. If I were doing it again I'd use somewhat wider flat for the louvres and space the original Fiat plate back so sticks and leaves would fall to the bottom.
If you haven't got engine side screens they stop a LOT of leaves and sticks falling into the engine guard. Ours didn't and it took a bit of reverse engineering to work out how Fiat built theirs.
One of its uses is reseeding with home made seeders for mostly buffel grass. Seed mechanism is a counterweight and chain on a spring. Calibration by "rough" and the size of the hole in the bin.
