Ford TLB hydraulic oil change

I have a Ford 445 TLB that I have owned for twenty odd yrs. The machine had 1355 hrs. when I purchased it. It now has 2670 hrs. Changed the oil in the hydraulic tank when I got the thing. I have decided to change it again. The tank holds 8 or so gallons. I'm sure the cylinders hold that much again. My question is this the proper way. The new will just mix with the cylinders oil. It doesn't seem practical to drain each cylinder. I will add a gallon of Lucas hydraulic supplement oil. Am I ok with the mix?

I usually raise all the equipment up fully, then open the drain plug, slowly lower all the equipment to the ground, change the filter and refill the reservoir, start up and go through all the movements and check the oil again, doing it that way will not get all the oil out but it is as near as you can get without draining the cylinders and all lines.

Thanks for the reply. I have been told that it is worthwhile to add a gallon of Lucas hydraulic boost and stop leak to the tank. Does anyone
have any info on the Lucas additive. The stuff is thirty odd dollars a gal. I am doing some paint up fix up on an old machine that has been
neglected too long.

I'm a long time in the repair business and have never used any additive in the hydraulic system of any machine oil old or new,I have never seen it recommended in any make either so I suppose it is a matter of choice like the fuel additives.
