MF 300 crawler dozer

Transmission issue sometimes when you put it in
drive it goes and sometimes it doesn't any ideas
filters and oil all ok

I have a MF200, Ive heard someone mention a reverser filter on the side of the transmission under your right foot when sitting on the seat pretty much. Its also the same filter number I believe as the engine oil filter. Does it do it in all gears?

I remember seeing one of those 300 when the came out new must be near 50 years ago,what a lovely looking machine they were and that's all I can remember about them,with the problem been common in all gears if it has a nudge pedal (clutch cutout) I would be looking at that.
