Have an old Case 580 ck backhoe thought about switching to spin on fuel filters but Case wants $ 600 for a new head and even a used one on Ebay is $ 300 are they made of gold ???

Looked a few up and as you say must be made of gold,there are four used ones on machinery trader at the link below,there is no price listed,you will have to contact them,I would stick with the original they were good enough for the last fifty years and are still available from Napa,element is FIL3516 other FIL3166.
