I have a Ford TLB 1980 style and I need to repack a cylinder and the job itself isn't so bad except for the gland nut removal in the end of the Ford cylinders. It works with a 36" pipe wrench and a six ft. piece of galvanized pipe, however, it is an inelegant way to get the job done and it makes the gland nut look bad. I assume that the dealers have a special purpose spanner type wrench for this job. I wonder how much trouble it would be to fabricate a wrench for the Ford cylinders
