Guys I think I found one I like, it needs a
little work but thats what I like. I just
dont know what kind it is. Can you look at
the pictures I posted of the backhoe under
the "tractor talk" forum and tell me what

RusTtrader, Do you have more pics of the engine,frame and dash? If it has Oliver drive train it may be a Parsons. The only Parsons backhoe that I have seen had a Oliver 1650 diesel engine and looked almost the same as my 1650 industrial.

Yea, I ended up buying it when I found out it is what appears to be an Oliver 1600 or 1650 underneath. The motor is tight and the overall condition is good. No brakes and no repair manual yet. Hoping to find one online to upload. You have a 1650? Anything to watch or dont does?

Its called a Parsons model 2d but has the look of and a 6 cyl diesel of an oliver 1600 or 1650. I love it! Hoping for a service manual.
