clutch out on 1957 cat motor grader


I think I'd track one down before you start wrenching; I would hate to pull the engine and then find out it's NLA.

BUT, you can have the one in the grader rebuilt if it's not destroyed. I had the clutch plate in a BMW bike rebuilt 43 years ago; got it done for a third what the dealer wanted...
 
Yep the model would be a help esp when ordering parts,could be a wet or dry depending on the model,have a look at the tag.EL Hombre when I served my time all clutches over 9" were rebuilt,brake shoes relined,brake bands too,wiper rubbers replaced off the roll,now everything is thrown away and we're supposed to be green.
