How do I get my hydraulics to work again? I changed the hydraulic fluid and filter. Found filter to have a large hole in it and basically fell apart in my hand when I removed it. Hydraulics worked fine prior to doing all this. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Did you clean the suction strainer,it could be plugged with bits of the pressure filter.

Yes I cleaned the screen thoroughly, put the cover back on filled with oil. I also ha ad to replace a bucket tilt hose as well. I have tried adding compressed air to the reservoir. When I pull any control , the hoses whine like there is lots of air in there. The only other thing I can think to do is crack the return line and try to bleed the air that way? When first started, the main bucket list will come up very slowly with a lot of noise, then when revved up more noise and nothing???? Thanks

My memory is very rusty on those machines,I seem to remember the pump was in the transmission, can you temporary submerge the pump in the oil,ie fill up the tranny to the top and start it for a minute and drain it down to the level again is about all I can suggest.

It seems to me that one of the following must be at fault: the suction line (either the pickup or the seal at the front of the
transmission), the seal around the filter on the lower right, the seal at the pump input, the actually connecting passage from the
filter on the lower right to the pump on the lower left (which might be clogged with filter debris), the pump itself, or the vent
on the transmission. If you remove both the pump and filter, you should be able to eliminate possibilities with inspection or
compressed air.
