wayne, got the 873 working. it was the control module. went over everything in the manual, checked all the wiring, could find nothing wrong. kept tossing codes for acutator calibration. turns out, some years back the module was replaced and bobcat updated it. it no longer requires a manual calibration of the actuators. the new module does it automatically. the calibration codes were the tip off the module was bad. apparently they can take up moisture and create problems. ah well, back in the sadddle again!!!! owner is very happy. thanks again for all your help!!!

Don't you like it when you find out that the mfg makes a change, and then fails to tell everyone about it? Not that they actually could, but it sounds good anyways, doesn't it...LOL

That said, I thought you had said it had been to the dealership before it came to you????? I know I've got one customer that has had nothing but problems out of our local Bobcat dealer. They have screwed up so much stuff the guys finally decided to take the time and do their own wrenching, as it was cheaper for them to take time away from their grading work, than it was to continue paying the dealer over and over to screw stuff up.

Anyways glad ya'll finally got it fixed, and thanks for the update, it really had me curious as to what was wrong.
