Caterpillar d6c loses power after it warms up

I replaced the engine in my d6c caterpillar bulldozer with another one 3306.It runs great cold but after it warms up it powers down and shuts off, also noted that it started running running rough, like it is missing firing on one cylinder. IT starts back up again after this happens fine and idles fine but shuts down again under full power and light pushing. I changed the engine fuel filter and drained the tank but it still has the same problem!Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Did you change/ replace the small canister filter that is on the suction side of the transfer pump. These are usually missed, but it
collects the water and heavy sediment before it goes to the fuel pumps. It is a washable screen which can usually be cleaned unless
it has corroded and collapsed.

I will check that, thanks. I am thinking maybe it's not a lack of fuel to the engine though. The fuel pressure gauge stays high on the dash. Could it be possible that I have a bent or broken push rod? This is a rebuild engine, when I first started the engine up after installed it was hard to get it to turn over, had to rock the starter, finally got it turning and noticed engine running a little rough, like it was missing hitting on one cylinder. Thanks for the response.
