Rubber tracks in mud

Hi Guys!

Hey, maybe you can help me out? We harvest about 700 acres of rice in Cambodia and the first crop comes out in the rainy season, which means we combine in the mud, often with 4 to 6 inches of standing water. our Kubota combines on rubber tracks
seem to take it without roller problems. What we need is a grain cart that will go through the mud. My question is does anyone know if the rubber tracked grain carts on the market, will take operating in water or will the rollers go out? We pull the grain
cart with a long track D-5 with swamp pads, we put steel seals in them and they seem to work. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

First off good to hear from you.. thought you had dropped off the earth. Glad to hear you are running the KUBOTA combines. Now here in the states I see the rubber tracked carts being operated in Arkansas in the mud and water so I assume they stand the elements but have no first hand knowledge. E male is open if you do not get more replies let me know and I will check with some of the rice producers over there. (Arkansas)

Jim,

Thanks, we're busy over here! I'd really like first hand info on what will work. Please go to our website www.fcopi.org and check out the stories on our rice farm. Let me know if you find anything! Blessings! Ted

Jim,
